You've seen it in umpteen shampoo commercials on TV: an actress waves around her lush and flowing locks while the voiceover praises the 'pH-balanced formula' of the product for achieving such desirable results. We're not hairdressers, so we have no idea whether pH levels really fortify your follicles or if the whole thing is just a marketing gimmick. Among the things in which we do have expertise however, is how to fortify a lawn with thick, lush grass. Not even grass can live forever.
